Come Volunteer at WBUCC!
BULA is looking for volunteers for WBUCC (14-19 of October 2024) as well as for WGGMBUCC (23-26 of October).
Have you ever heard that “it takes a village to raise a child? This African proverb can also be applied to hosting a tournament, where the Staff, Partners, and Volunteers are key.
Our objective is to form a team of capable, motivated and passionate volunteers, who will help us create and develop an unforgettable experience for all those who come to Praia da Rocha next October: players, family and friends.
We will do everything in our power to make this volunteer experience fun and satisfying, and that we will work tirelessly for you. What we ask of you is that you come willing to roll up your sleeves, always be there to lend a hand and embody the spirit of this great sport when you wear our colors on the tournament beaches.
What we will provide you:
- A place to stay and food while you are part of our team.
- A volunteer t-shirt, a player gift pack, and preferential access to the field for important games.
- Free access to all tournament parties.
- The opportunity to meet new people and make great friendships.
- The opportunity to live an unforgettable experience.
What we need in exchange:
- A positive attitude and willingness to work 5-6 hours a day, or more depending on the total number of volunteers.
- A basic knowledge of the game in terms of the scoring system and time control, and how a match is developed.
- The availability to endure the heat while helping, keep scoreboards, run errands, carry water to fields, clean up and pick up, and assist all players and teams while at the beach.
- And finally, the sincere desire to have fun and have fun like the rock stars we really are.
